We are extremely excited to host the 2023 Tri-States Championship USSA Event on 3/3/23 - 3/5/23 at Whaleback Mountain for our second year in a row!
Hosting the Tri-State Championships is a privilege our ski organization typically only sees once every 5 years. We hosted this event in 2022 and are now fortunate enough to be able to host once again this year. The event includes athletes (ages 7-15) from all over Maine, Massachusetts and New Hampshire and brings together a strong ski community that is inspires and supports these young athletes. In addition, Tri-States allows us to welcome all of you to our local hometown mountain, which is also a non-profit organization that supports our community.
We encourage everyone to come out and cheer on our local athletes and participate in a fun event to support the Whaleback Mountain Club and Whaleback Mountain.
Weekend Agenda:
Friday, March 3rd: Aerial Event starting at 2 pm
Saturday, March 4th: Mogul Event starting at 10:30 am
Sunday, March 5th: Slopestyle Event starting at 10:30 am
Saturday Night Banquet!! The banquet will include:
Mountain buffet dinner with chicken piccata, smoked meats and more!
Huge raffle including ski merchandise and a variety of basket giveaways
Torch light parade for athletes and coaches
Mountainside fireworks
